We designed this frame to create a solid yet breathable base to perfectly complement our mattress.
It is simple, sturdy and easy to assemble. The circular holes at the base allow easy airflow to the bottom of the mattress without sacrificing support. The Airframe is manufactured in Chicago by a local metal fabricator.
Circular perforations on the surface of the Airframe open up the mattress base to air circulation without sacrificing support.
Foam mattresses sink into gaps in support on slatted bases or boxsprings, especially when these gaps are more than 3" wide. Sinking into gaps will soften the mattress or result in uneven support.
The Airframe combines the airflow of slats with the support of a solid base. Circular perforations on the Airframe surface open up the mattress base to air circulation without sacrificing support, providing the ideal base for The Pure Green Mattress or any other foam mattress.
The Airframe can be assembled in about 10 minutes using only a Phillips-head screwdriver.
Assembling the Airframe is simple and requires only a Philips-head screwdriver to screw in four screws.
The complete assembly of the frame takes around ten minutes. The frame can also be easily disassembled and moved.

Accurate Metal Fabricating, a metal fabricator founded in 1939, manufactures the Airframe in Chicago.
We collaborated with them to design this frame from scratch. Combining our knowledge of bedding with their expertise in metalworking, we teamed up to produce a unique bed frame that pairs perfectly with our mattress.
In April of 2020, Accurate Metal utilized its experience manufacturing the Airframe to support the Army Corps of Engineers and the City of Chicago by manufacturing 2000 Rapid Deployment Medical Beds used in COVID-19 response efforts.
